The Michigan minimum wage increases on September 1, 2014 as listed below. For more information click on the following link : Michigan Minimum Wage Increase

  • Minimum Hourly Wage Rate = $8.15
  • Tipped Employee Hourly Wage Rate = $3.10
  • Minimum Hourly Wage Rate for Minors (16-17) = $7.25
  • Training Wage for Employees ages 16-19 (first 90 days) = $4.25

Get an IRS Identity Protection (IP) PIN

From the IRS:

An identity protection PIN (IP PIN) is a six-digit number that prevents someone else from filing a tax return using your Social Security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN). The IP PIN is known only to you and the IRS. It helps verify your identity when you file your electronic or paper tax return. Even though you may not have a filing requirement, an IP PIN still protects your account.
