Standard Mileage Rates
2009:
For 2009, the standard mileage allowance is:
- 55¢ per mile for business travel for owned or leased autos (including vans, pickups or panel trucks).
- 24¢ per mile for using a car to get medical care or in connection with a move that qualifies for the moving expense deduction.
- 14¢ per mile driven in service of charitable organizations.

2010:
As of January 1, 2010, the standard mileage allowance is:
- 50¢ per mile for business travel for owned or leased autos (including vans, pickups or panel trucks).
- 16.5¢ per mile for using a car to get medical care or in connection with a move that qualifies for the moving expense deduction.
- 14¢ per mile driven in service of charitable organizations.
